“Volunteers don’t get paid – not because they’re worthless – but because they are priceless.” ~Sherry Anderson
What would this world look like without people who are willing to get involved and help… just because it’s a good thing to do?
The West Valley is incredibly fortunate to have giving and caring people who pitch in without expecting anything in return. And we’ve found a way to make sure these front line workers are recognized for their efforts.
In the fall of 2010, Goodyear In ACTION introduced a new program called Turning Thoughts into ACTION. It’s two-fold. The program awards athletic scholarships to underprivileged high school students who are unable to afford to play in the sport of their choice. And Turning Thoughts into ACTION is a “club”, of sorts, made up of truly outstanding West Valley residents.
